The discharge manifold connects with three cylinder blocks simultaneously and features two ports on the left and right sides, allowing drilling fluid to be discharged from either side.
A discharge filter should be installed on the opposite side of the discharge manifold. After filtering, the drilling mud flows into the drilling fluid line (manifold).
Before performing maintenance on the mud discharge manifold, the bypass valve on the pressure release line must be opened first to release all pressure in the discharge manifold to zero.
During installation of the suction and discharge manifolds, after proper adjustment and alignment of all components, use a torque wrench to tighten the connection bolts between the suction manifold, discharge manifold, and cylinder blocks to the specified torque values.

Discharge Manifold and Accessory Manifold Installation
  • Thoroughly clean the contact surfaces between the discharge manifold and cylinder blocks, install the seal ring, and position it onto the cylinder blocks. The tightening torque for bolt M39*3 is 1954-2255 N·m.
  • According to discharge manifold requirements, install the accessory manifold (5-way or 4-way), discharge pulsation dampener, relief valve, bypass valve, and pressure release line. Bolts and nuts must be tightened to meet the specifications in clause 12.2.1.
The suction manifold connects to three cylinder blocks simultaneously and features three ports at the left, middle, and right positions, allowing drilling fluid to be drawn from any port as needed.
Suction Manifold and Suction Desurger Installation
  • Clean the flange end face of the suction manifold, install seal rings, and connect it to the three cylinder blocks. The tightening torque for bolt M39*3 is 321-370 N·m.
  • Install the suction desurger onto the suction manifold according to manufacturer specifications.
